West Heanton residential home — front lawns, gardens and building

Welcome

Care in the heart of our community

West Heanton is a hub for our local area: residential and respite care, supported living suites, domiciliary care, a busy day centre, meals on wheels, and a sitting service — with a warm, family-run ethos since 1991.

What we offer

28 residential rooms, 5 supported living suites, domiciliary care across Torrington, Holsworthy, Hatherleigh and surrounding villages — and a purpose-built day centre open Monday–Friday.

Our story

Founded by Sid & Phylis Martin in 1991 on a converted dairy farm, West Heanton began with a simple idea — a home where people feel genuinely cared for. Today, that same ethos continues through the next generation and an exceptional team who bring warmth, professionalism and dedication to every day.
